Ray Judy Memorial Scholarship Now Accepting Applications
Good news for students planning their next chapter, The Ray Judy Memorial Scholarship is officially open, and for the first time ever, the entire application process is online.
Named after Ray Judy, a founding member and Santel’s General Manager from 1955–1985, this scholarship honors a legacy rooted in opportunity, education, and strengthening the rural communities we call home.
Eligible students must have a parent or guardian who is a Santel customer and plan to attend a post-secondary school within South Dakota by fall of 2026 or Spring of 2027.
Scholarship Awards Include:
• 10 merit-based scholarships of $750 recognizing academic achievement and hard work.
• 2 additional $300 scholarships awarded by random drawing of the remaining entrants, every one who applies has a chance to win!
Applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, March 24.
